ELCA Youth Gathering 2006 “Cruzando” San Antonio, TX

The ELCA Youth Gathering is a national convention held every 3 years in a different American city attended by high-school-age youth of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. In 2006, Kelly Glow was invited to perform on the main stage in San Antonio, TX for a lively crowd of over 20,000 youth and youth leaders. She opened the set with a single called “Backsliders” and closed the set with the song “Christ the King” from her first studio album. This performance demonstrates Kelly’s role as an advocate and pioneer of the new millennium age of the Christian Hip Hop movement.
